A true healer does not heal you; she simply reflects back to you your innate capacity to heal. She is a reflector, or a loving transparency.
A true teacher does not teach you; she does not see you as inherently separate from her, or less than her. She simply reflects back your own inner knowing, and reminds you of the vastness of your being. She is a mirror, a signpost.
And love is the space in which all of this is possible; love heals, and we learn best in a loving field, no threat of failure, no punishment. ~Jeff Foster
Therapy can be a place to remember what has always been whole within you — to listen to your body’s stories, to meet the parts of yourself that have had to work so hard to keep you safe, and to allow healing to unfold at the pace your nervous system can truly hold.
Many people I work with carry the imprints of developmental (childhood) or intergenerational trauma, experiences that shaped their sense of safety and belonging in early life. These patterns often show up as anxiety, depression, chronic self-doubt, or a feeling of disconnection — from others or from oneself. In our work together, we create space for curiosity, compassion, and the slow unwinding of what has been held too tightly for too long or the nourishment of what has gone without for too long.
My approach integrates Somatic Experiencing, parts work, and relational therapy, grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection — both to another human being and to the wisdom of the body. Together, we explore your internal landscape and the deep capacity for resilience that lives beneath it all.
I welcome people of all ages, gender expressions, and cultural identities, and am especially attuned to supporting those from marginalized communities who may not have often felt fully seen or safe. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk beside you — to reflect your inherent worth and help you rediscover your body’s natural rhythm of safety, expansion, and joy.
My practice space, located in my home, is peaceful and inviting, with the option to meet outdoors. Whether through quiet reflection, gentle humor, or embodied presence, our work together is an invitation to come home to yourself — to the fullness of your authentic self.
Please contact me for current availability. My practice is often full, but I sometimes offer a waitlist.
I am also certified to provide clinical supervision for CSWA’s working toward licensure.
